Daniel Ory, MD, is Professor of Medicine at Washington University School of Medicine, St. Louis, MO, where he is Co-Director of the Washington University Diabetic Cardiovascular Disease Center. Dr. Ory has been active in NPC research for nearly 20 years, and has made important contributions to our understanding of the role of the NPC proteins in regulation of cellular cholesterol homeostasis. He has served on the National Niemann-Pick Disease Foundation (NNPDF) SAB since 2003 (Chairman from 2007-14) and serves on the Ara Parseghian Medical Research Fund at Notre Dame. Dr. Ory is a founding and lead member of the Collaborative.
